2/6/16-Slow but Steady
Today Dawgma members continued their hard work.
From nine to five, our robotics team slaved away to make our robot go from being a baby, to being a toddler robot.
Members were scattered, fighting against the clock as week 4 comes to an end. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a team to build a robot.
MechEs continued doing a variety of tasks- building field elements, ironing out arm details, working on gear boxes.
Awards and scouting team continued going over all their work with a fine tooth comb. Since Chairman’s award has been submitted, the team can finally
continue working on other pressing matters: scouting sheets and the Entrepreneurship Award.
The programming team was also hard at work: coding autonomous mode along with practicing with
the robot’s accelerometer and gyro.
The CAD team continued their valiant struggle against their deadly foe: the CAD’ing program, Inventor. CADers fought against the program heroically, dealing with the constant crashing at the most inopportune moments and creating annoying situations for the CADers to fix.
